Under his leadership, Investcorp grew its assets under management from $10 billion to over $52 billion in nine years, diversified its asset classes, and expanded its global presence. <br /><br />He leads the firm’s activities across its global office network in New York, London, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Mumbai, Delhi, Beijing, Singapore and Japan. Prior to his appointment as Executive Chairman in 2015, he was an Investcorp Board Director since 2008. <br /><br />Alardhi is a retired Air Vice Marshal and was the youngest and longest-serving Chief of the Omani Air Force, having joined the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) in 1978. In 2000, he was awarded the “Order of Oman” by the Late Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said. <br /><br />In addition to his role at Investcorp, Alardhi also serves as the Chairman of the Muscat Stock Exchange. He sits on several boards, including the International Advisory Board of The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., the Eisenhower Fellowship in Philadelphia, The World Economic Forum's Community of Chairpersons, the Harvard Kennedy School Dean’s Council, the Harvard Center for Public Leadership, and is a member of The Global Advisory Council of the Wilson Centre. <br /><br />He is the author of three published books, and his most recent title, “Connecting to the Future”, became a US best-seller in 2023. The book is a comprehensive guide to creating a forward-thinking blueprint for dynamic company growth and large-scale success. His other two published books are “Arabs Down Under” and “Arabs Unseen”. <br /><br />Mohammed Alardhi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Science from the Royal Air Force UK Staff College in Bracknell, UK and a master’s in public administration from the John F.   C.P. Group started out as Chia Tai Jung-- a modest vegetable seed shop in Bangkok’s Chinatown in the early 1920’s. Over the century it has grown into a sustainability-committed global business enterprise, with core businesses in agri-food production and distribution, logistics and retail operations, as well as telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, automotive, financial service and property development. C.P. Group’s manufacturing bases are located in twenty-one countries in Asia, Europe and North America, with a workforce of forty-five hundred thousand and an annual turnover of US $94 billion.<br />
  <br />
  The Group became the first foreign investor in China under the Reform and Opening Up program when it established a modern feed mill in SEZ Shenzhen the late 1970’s. Today, some ninety thousand employees operate farms and food processing facilities, shopping centers and retail outlets across China under the Chia Tai Group. C.P.   In the wake of the Coronavirus (Covid19) epidemic in Thailand, C.P. Group in April 2020 invested in a plant to fill the shortage of surgical masks for frontline medical workers. By the end of the first year of the global pandemic, C.P. Group had expended more than US $58 million to procure personal protective equipment and other medical supplies to hospitals as well as food supplies for the general public of several afflicted countries.<br />

  Mr. Dhanin Cheravanont is recognized internationally for his efforts in promoting national development, the people’s well-being and international business understanding and cooperation. Hailed by China’s national media as “One of China’s Best-known International Friends,” Mr. Dhanin also serves as the president of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs.<br/>

In housing, electricity, petrochemical, communications and other fields, a large number of projects have been implemented to benefit the local economic development, social progress and improvement of people's livelihood. Ms Hui is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. In addition, Ms Hui is a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Belt and Road & Greater Bay Area Committee and its Greater Bay Area Task Force on Innovation and Technology, a non-official member of the Digital Economy Development Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, and a director of Mox Bank Limited. Mr Tong is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was awarded the honour of JP, Silver Bauhinia Star , Gold Bauhinia Star and Grand Bauhinia Medal by the Government of the HKSAR successively in 1998, 1999, 2006 and 2019. <br /><br />Mr Yu is Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Vice Chairman of The Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited, Member of Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Founding Chairman and 1st President of Federation of Hong Kong Guangdong Community Organizations Limited, Principal Chairman of The Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, Committee Member of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Honorary University Fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Hong Kong Baptist University, and Honorary Doctor of Business Administration of the City University of Hong Kong, and Adviser to All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Jinan University, Guangzhou, and, Vice President of Jinan University Education and Foundation Fund Limited, Guangzhou. <br /><br />He was awarded the “Honorary Citizen” by the Government of Meizhou, Guangdong Province. He was Member of the Organizing Committee and the Selection Committee of the HKSAR; Executive Member of the National Committee of The 10th、11th 、12th and 13th CNPPCC; Member of the Presidium of Election Conference for the Delegates of the 10th 、11th、12th and 13th National People’s Congress; and, Hong Kong Affairs Adviser.</div>
