It has come to the attention of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) that recently, some third-party organisations or individuals, unrelated to the HKTDC and of unknown origin, have claimed to be able to provide participants with access to the Belt and Road Summit through unauthorised channels.

The HKTDC hereby issues this public statement that it will take resolute action against any verified suspicious, unlawful and irregular activities, and reminds all participants to remain vigilant to guard against fraud.

If you encounter any Summit-related information suspected to be disseminated without HKTDC’s authorisation, please notify us immediately for follow-up action (Email: beltandroadsummit@hktdc.org; Tel: (852) 1830 668).
