Among these steps, promoting green development and innovation along the Belt and Road is a key priority. It is foreseeable that more investments will be made by investors on areas like renewable energy, green infrastructure and green transportation. While these green projects will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the global fight against climate change, legal issues and disputes arising from these projects will inevitably arise. Having one-stop legal and dispute resolution services is of paramount importance to investors involved in these new projects.With its mature legal system and outstanding legal and dispute resolution services, Hong Kong will continue to utilize its unique strengths under &ldquo;one country, two systems&rdquo; and serve as an international legal and dispute resolution services centre for the Belt and Road Initiative.
